Aclarar que son las marchas de un cambio automát. Yo me inclino por dejarlo igual y poner una aclaración; es decir:

PRNDL (las marchas de un cambio automático).

Incluso antes de cerrar el paréntesis, se puede añadir "antiguo", "americano", "estadounidense" o lo que corresponda. Que elijan los expertos del automóvil :-)

Vehicles conforming to US Government standards must have the modes ordered P-R-N-D-L (left to right, top to bottom, or clockwise). Prior to this, quadrant-selected automatic transmissions often utilized a P-N-D-L-R layout, or similar.

There are some differences but the same letters anyway. Basically: PRND, PRNDS (Sport) or PRNDL (Low).
