English term

amenity bed

English to Spanish Medical
Hola!
Espero que alguien pueda darme una manito...
Aquí va el contexto... "nor do we expect this provision to have any impact on the number of *** amenity beds *** within the NHS where patients who receive NHS treatment may be charged for particular accommodation in a single or small room when they wish to have privacy. Any bed can be used as an *** amenity bed *** provided that no other patient has a clinical need for it"

Desde ya, muchas gracias!

Patricia

"Identification of an amenity patient (abbreviation AM) or private patient (abbreviation PP) where appropriate. **Amenity patient** is a patient who requests to pay a standard charge for the use of a cubicle on the ward. Allocation of an **amenity bed** is always subject to the medical need of other patients on the ward. A private patient is a patient who is paying charges for all medical services provided"

"Amenity Beds
If you would like **the privacy of a single room**, you may have this at a small fee per night, provided the room is not needed for another patient for medical reasons. These rooms cannot be booked in advance and are subject to availability. Should you wish an **amenity bed** please enquire on arrival at the hospital."

Un cordial saludo.

cama en un cuarto privado

Hola Pats, :-)

"Amenity Beds
Each ward has single rooms for general use and for patients whose medical condition requires it. However, when they are not in use, they can be made available to **patients who are willing to pay for the privacy afforded by a single room**. Amenity beds do not entitle you to any extra medical or nursing care and may have to be give up if another person needs it on medical grounds. If there is no amenity bed available on the day of admission you will be admitted as normal. No charge will be made under these circumstances. If you feel you would like an amenity bed on your admission please contact the Patient Services Manager at Th. Belford Hospital as early as possible before admission. "
