Here's something I've found which is similar to one of the subjects discussed in the conference.
Ambient comfort is measured in PMV, a method of evaluating ambient comfort devised by the Danish physicist, Fanger. PMV is the reference parameter for the correct assessment of ambient comfort indicated by ISO 7726 and 7730 standards.
