Automotive
The following bullet appears under instructions for the trainer in an introductory course text for automotive technicians (HVT=heavy truck).
"Present a general idea of vehicles, trucks, heavy machinery and diesel-engine technology for studies in the trade of HVT-technician"
The English text being translated was itself translated from German. I am having some difficulty following the flow of the sentence at the point which begins with "for studies ..."
Does this mean that the overview should be geared to those studying to be HVT technicians, or does it mean something else?
Thanks for your help.
